Thousand Hills Cattle Ranch produces beef cattle honoring the legacy of cattle ranching. Our cattle are grown naturally as they were in the early years of cattle ranching in America before commercialization / industrialization. Our cattle are pasture-raised and pasture-finished on natural forages that include native grasses and legumes. We also supply a free choice supplement which is a balanced mix of grains, vitamins, and minerals that compliments our natural forages that is developed specifically for our cattle by a bovine nutrition specialist. Our cattle choose what they want to eat – just like we do!
Grown locally, we combine today’s knowledge of genetics, nutrition, and health management with regenerative agriculture practices, animal husbandry, and welfare.
